1 I left my Residence Card at home โ–ผ
Tell the immigration officer. You can fill out a simple form and proceed with departure.
2 I'm not coming back. Do I need to fill this out? โ–ผ
No. Tell the officer and return your Residence Card.
3 I haven't booked my return ticket yet โ–ผ
That's fine. Fill in the ARRIVAL side before entering Japan, so do it after booking.
4 I'm transiting through Korea to Vietnam. What destination? โ–ผ
Write your final destination: Vietnam.
5 Can I use the facial recognition gate? โ–ผ
No. Use the booth with an immigration officer to depart.
6 Can I fill it out at home in advance? โ–ผ
Yes. Use black or blue pen. If you make a mistake, cross it out and continue using it.
7 Do I need to fill the ARRIVAL side when departing? โ–ผ
No. Fill it before arriving in Japan. The officer will staple it to your passport.
